What Matters?
So, apparently people read this blog other than myself. That's quite a surprise.
Question: What issues matter to you, as a student, or as a resident of the state of Wisconsin?

There are some of us actual readers out there. I imagine most of us thought you quit blogging, though.
Answering your question, I'd say the big issue is Biddy's initiative. Is she selling it properly? All I hear from other students is "Higher tuition? Fuck that." And why the arbitrary $80,000 figure? With ASM wrapping for the year, it's really the only big campus issue.
Also, Bridget Maniaci: will she be the "rubber stamp" for Mayor Dave the progressives pegged her as? And is she just a gaff waiting to happen? Some of the arguments she got into on her blog weren't exactly becoming of an alder.
I just say I read your blog and two new posts pop up? Cool. Basically, I agree with Anonymous up there on Maniaci, I think she's really the wild card of the new Common Council slate, Eagon and Shiva both seem pretty predictable.

Gen Con. Even though it's held in, umm, Indianapolis nowadays. ;-)
I've always thought about going to GenCon. But it's in Indianapolis. And always in August, which is never a good month for me. Perhaps next year...
